Who provides the service
London Adventure Club is operated by [LEGAL_OPERATOR, COMPANY NUMBER, REGISTERED OFFICE AND COUNTRY OF REGISTRATION]. Contact: [CLUB_EMAIL], [CORRESPONDENCE_ADDRESS] and [GENERAL CONTACT NUMBER]. During an attended session use [DUTY_PHONE]. A session venue may differ from the registered office.
These terms apply to the holiday camp or after-school sessions described in your booking confirmation. They must be read with the service description and the policies provided before booking. Nothing in them removes your statutory rights. Important restrictions and charges will be shown prominently before payment rather than hidden in linked documents.
Ages and current status
The launch programme is for children who have reached their eighth birthday and fall within the published [AGE_RANGE] for the booked activity. Younger children are planned for a later phase and cannot attend this launch programme. We will publish our verified registration status clearly before bookings open. We will not describe ourselves as Ofsted registered unless the relevant registration is in place.
Making and confirming a booking
The person booking must be at least 18 and have parental responsibility or authority from someone who does. Please provide accurate details and tell us about relevant court orders or restrictions affecting collection or information sharing. We may ask for proportionate evidence where needed to protect a child.
An enquiry or registration of interest is not a booking. We review availability and any necessary support arrangements and send written acceptance. The contract begins when we issue that acceptance. An automated receipt acknowledging a request is not acceptance. Where payment is collected before acceptance and we cannot offer the place, we return it promptly and in any event within 14 calendar days.
Before you commit, we provide the dates, location or meeting point, hours, age group, principal activities, travel arrangements, food provision, total mandatory price and any optional extras. The booking confirmation contains these details, the payment schedule, the applicable terms and a session contact number. Please check it and tell us promptly about errors.
Payment and regular after school places
Prices and due dates appear in the booking summary. Optional extras need your express agreement. No additional compulsory charge will be introduced after booking. We accept only the payment methods advertised; childcare payment schemes are available only if specifically confirmed for the club.
If a payment is late, we contact you with the amount due and a reasonable deadline to resolve it before cancelling future attendance. We never leave an already accepted child without a safe handover because of a payment dispute. Any recovery charge must be lawful, fair and disclosed.
A regular after-school place requires a written schedule showing the booked weekdays, school term dates, closure days, price, billing period and notice arrangements. There is no automatic renewal, subscription or recurring payment authority unless separately and expressly agreed. Ad hoc bookings do not reserve future places. Changes and cancellations follow policy 7.
Information and attendance
Before attendance, provide the child’s details, emergency contacts, authorised collectors, relevant health and allergy information and support needs through the agreed secure route. Keep them current. If essential information is missing, we will try to resolve it with you; we may defer attendance where safe care cannot yet be arranged and explain the decision and any fair refund calculation.
You must follow the confirmed arrival and collection arrangements and report an absence promptly. School collection is included only when a named school and handover have been agreed in writing. The club remains responsible for reasonable care while a child is in our charge, including after closing until a safe handover occurs.
Activities and changes
We use appropriate supervision and reasonable care and skill. Active play and outings involve ordinary risks, which we assess and manage; participation consent is not a waiver of legal rights. Information for higher-risk or specialist activities is provided in advance and any specific consent obtained. A third-party provider does not automatically take away our own responsibilities.
Small timetable changes may be needed for safety or weather. Significant changes to the location, hours or main service are handled under policy 7. We do not reserve an unrestricted right to change a paid booking without a remedy.
Behaviour safety and ending attendance
We work with children and families under policies 8 and 11. We may stop an activity or require safe collection where there is a serious, immediate risk that cannot reasonably be managed. Longer suspension or cancellation is considered individually, with reasonable adjustments, written reasons and a review route. A child will never be sent away alone. Refunds are assessed under policy 7; there is no automatic loss of all future fees.
Belongings and responsibility
Bring only the items listed for the session and label them. Tell us about essential medical or assistive equipment. We take reasonable care of property entrusted to us but do not promise to prevent every accidental loss. This does not exclude liability for our failure to exercise reasonable care. We log found property, arrange collection and normally keep it for four weeks, contacting identifiable owners first; medicines, sensitive documents and unsafe or perishable items are handled appropriately rather than donated.
We remain responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. There is no general parent indemnity for everything a child does. Disputed damage is assessed fairly on evidence; no automatic charge is taken.
Complaints and changes to these terms
Use policy 5 to raise a complaint. Your right to approach a regulator or court is not conditional on completing our process. English law applies, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and court rights available to you. If a term cannot lawfully apply, it will not be enforced; the remaining terms continue so far as lawful.
New terms apply to future bookings. For an existing booking, we seek agreement to a material change or offer a suitable cancellation and refund option. Necessary legal or urgent safety changes will be explained promptly. We keep the version that formed your contract.
