We plan supervision, activities, journeys and premises arrangements around the children taking part. Our checks cover the environment, equipment, access, medical needs, emergency arrangements and the staffing needed for safe delivery.
We assess risks before activities and review them when circumstances change. If safe arrangements cannot be maintained, we stop, change or cancel the activity and communicate with families. Applicable refunds follow our cancellation policy.
Each session has a person in charge, first-aid cover and arrangements for safeguarding support. Staff are briefed on evacuation and other emergencies, including assistance for anyone who needs help leaving safely. We keep detailed security procedures restricted to those who need them.
We record accidents and near misses, review what happened and make required reports to the appropriate authorities. Parents receive relevant information about their child and any necessary follow-up.
Families should follow arrival instructions, tell us about relevant needs and use the session duty number for urgent contact. Call 999 in an immediate emergency.
